Here's a list of places that we love around DFW, and we've gone to most of these on our countless dates over the last year! If you are coming from out of town, and want to fill your time outside of the wedding, then ask us for more recommendations!

Visit the site of our first date, back on April 7, 2024! If you're into art, the DFW area has some of the highest rated art museums in the country. The Dallas Museum of Art always has great collections!

Fort Worth ZooFort Worth Zoo

The highest ranked zoo in the area! There are TONS of exhibits, and a little something for everyone, no matter what types of animals you're into. It's a great place for fun, wildlife photos, and awakening your inner child once again!

This one is Michael's favorite art museum in the area. The architecture of the building is itself a work of art! Not to mention, it always has some fascinating pieces on display and a high end bistro/cafe that overlooks the water!

If you want to feel like you're in a period movie with the likes of Cary Grant, Audrey Hepburn, The Rat Pack, and so on, then check out the Scat Jazz Lounge! Walk down an alley in Sundance Square, step inside the elevator door, and take it down to this jazzy speak easy. Grab a cozy booth or find a table right in front of the stage. There's a new act every night, and every time we've been, the talent has been phenomenal!

Another of our favorite art museums in the area and right next door to the Modern. The Renaissance and Baroque era paintings in the permanent collection here are truly gorgeous!

The Water Gardens in Ft. Worth contain some of the coolest water features you'll ever see in the U.S. There's something so calming and relaxing about walking through and around this plethora of fountains!

One of the most gorgeous botanic gardens you will see in Texas! They've got a Japanese garden, a butterfly sanctuary where thousands of butterflies fly around, and lots of beautiful garden features!

The Nasher Sculpture Center has some of the best sculptures in any of the museums around here. It's another favorite of ours!
