Getting from the U.S. to VeronaGetting from the U.S. to Verona

The primary airport serving Verona is Valerio Catullo Airport, also known as Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN). We encourage flights directly into Verona. If your preferred airline or preferred flight times are unavailable flying directly to VRN, we recommend flying into Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), and taking a high-speed train into Verona. This is the most common way to get to Verona, and is incredibly easy. Just follow these steps: Step 1: Fly into Milan Book your flight to Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP), Milan's main international airport. Step 2: Take the Airport Express Train After collecting your luggage, follow the signs for Treni / Train Station. Purchase a ticket for the Malpensa Express to Milano Centrale, Milan's main train station. The journey takes approximately 50–60 minutes. Step 3: Catch a High-Speed Train to Verona At Milano Centrale, board a high-speed train to Verona Porta Nuova. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Step 4: Book Your Train Tickets We recommend booking your high-speed train tickets in advance through: Trenitalia: www.trenitalia.com Italo: www.italotreno.com Select Milano Centrale as your departure station and Verona Porta Nuova as your destination. Step 5: Welcome to Verona! Once you arrive at Verona Porta Nuova, taxis are available outside the station to take you to your hotel in the historic city center, approximately 10–15 minutes away.

For Travel PlanningFor Travel Planning

Verona, the setting of Shakespeare's "Romeo & Juliet," is located in Northern Italy, halfway between Milan and Venice. An extremely charming town, no more than 2 days is needed to generally see and experience all the city has to offer. The location of our wedding is a short 20 minute drive outside the city (transportation will be provided), at Villa Mosconi, a working winery in Verona's version of Napa Valley Wine Country, know as the Valpolicella Region. For those joining us at this gorgeous historic villa to celebrate our wedding, we recommend adding a visit to Milan, Venice, Florence, or Bologna to your itinerary as a way to extend your trip and explore more of Italy. And if you're adding Milan to your trip, do not miss a stay in Lake Como—the most beautiful area in the world!
