Busch Gardens Williamsburg

This is one of our favorite places to go! It's about an hour away. Add some time in your visit to go during their Halloween themed time, Howl-o-scream.

Chrysler Museum of Art

Downtown Norfolk

Downtown Norfolk has plenty of places to eat, like the Waterside District, and things to do.

First Landing State Park

This state park has hiking trails and beach access.

Norfolk Botanical Garden

This a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The gardens still look great at this time of the year

Premium Outlets (shopping)

Norfolk Premium Outlets is nearby, and Williamsburg Premium Outlets is about an hour away.

Town Center of Virginia Beach

This is Virginia Beach's attempt at a downtown, but it is a nice place to shop and eat.

Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center

The Adventure Park is also on onsite (for ropes course and zipline with different ability levels) and requires separate admission

Virginia Beach Boardwalk

The weather should still be nice this time of the year to visit the beach and the boardwalk.

Virginia Beach's City Parks

The weather is still nice to visit some of Virginia Beach's parks. Mt. Trashmore has Kids Cove and exercise circuit, and Red Wing Park has the Japanese garden.
