Wedding Party

Ffyon Hund

Maid of Honor

Have you ever had a friend who feels like soul family, the kind you’re bonded to for life, but you're really glad you’re not actually related? That’s Ffyon. She’s been my chosen family for as long as I can remember. She once iced me out for an entire soccer season when I couldn’t keep up with her elite skills, but held me close when college pulled us miles apart. When Michael came along, she welcomed him like one of our own. Honestly, I owe a lot of my best decisions to Ffyon... and some questionable ones too (balance, right?). She was the first to get a job in Madison, WI, so naturally, we packed up and moved in together during the chaos of 2020. We simultaneously downloaded Hinge on our stained white couch (If you know about this couch, you know). And she was the one who saw right through my "we're just friends, I swear" phase with Michael. I’ve dreamed of Ffyon being my Maid of Honor for over two decades, and now it’s finally happening. I might be more excited about it than she is, but I couldn’t imagine anyone else by my side: making sure I’m crying on cue, holding my bouquet correctly, and not giggling too hard down the aisle.

Clare Dyra

Bridesmaid

A lifelong friendship that has seen some sh**. Clare is the person you call when you've made a really, really bad decision—and somehow, she makes it feel totally okay. Honestly, everyone should have a Clare. Public nudity? No problem. Have to pee mid-road trip? She’s handing you a Pringle can without hesitation. She’s the kind of friend who offers unconditional support—no drama, no ultimatums, just steady presence and unwavering loyalty. I truly can’t imagine life without her. One day, we will be living on a commune together, surrounded by kids, chickens, sheep, and sunshine. Corey and Michael can handle all the “manly” chores while Clare and I finally live out our homesteading dreams. Clare is a forever friend—the kind who gives and loves within her capacity, and always accepts you exactly where you are. She understands that friendship isn’t about keeping score, and she has this effortless way of making you feel seen, heard, and loved. I’m endlessly lucky to have her standing by my side.

Noelle Nicoara

Bridesmaid

Noelle and I met after Ffyon and I moved into the bottom unit of a house on Gorham Street. It was a bit of a scramble—we had to find a place last-minute after I impulsively adopted Benny (zero regrets, questionable timing). I was sleeping on our closed-in porch, juggling two jobs, dirtbag climbing, and casually scouting for future life partners. Amid the chaos, Noelle—being the incredibly thoughtful human she is—started making small talk. Before long, we were swapping baked goods, taking workout classes together, and plotting future trips. Just as our friendship was starting to bloom, Noelle was diagnosed with cancer—again. And yet, she faced it with this quiet, unwavering strength. No fear, no doubt—just an unshakable belief that she’d beat it and we’d keep building the kind of friendship that lasts a lifetime. Watching her go through something so brutal while still being the most selfless, generous, and joy-filled person—it changed me. She’s the friend who remembers the little things: How was your workout today? How’s training with Benny? Are you and Michael dating yet? Through scattered text threads (I’m the worst) and a shared love for movement, treats, and spontaneous plans, we built something real. Now, Noelle and Sam live just 20 minutes from us in Colorado, and we're doing our best to convince them to stay forever—so we can keep climbing 14ers, riding bikes for way too many hours, and ending the day with sparkling waters and RomComs.

Leah Bolin

Bridesmaid

I like to call Leah my “adult friend”, the kind you meet after college, once you’re knee-deep in career-ish routine, animal adopting and calendar tetris. We met through mutual friends and, honestly, had every excuse not to stay connected. Opposite schedules, busy lives, different paths. But, we knew better. We clicked over the things that make us suffer; running, hiking, climbing, but also the things that fill our cups: long yaps, coffee chats, and leisure walking. Leah is the kind of person who is always down for a good time, yet incredibly dependable. She’s grounded and independent, but still makes you feel like the most important person in the room...even when you're ranting about petty drama. She’s the type of person who will humbly finish an entire Ironman, hop on a last-minute flight to France, yet STILL reply to every single text you sent her that week. She’s up for an adventure, down to chill, and always willing to share an appetizer. Having Leah in my corner is a gift and getting to call her a bridesmaid feels like a no brainer.

Anna Eversmeyer

Bridesmaid

Anna and I met in college as semi-roommates. Her best friend from home, Megan (hi Megan!), was my actual roommate, but through Megan, I got the honor of convincing Anna to be my friend, too. Some of my earliest memories of Anna include coming back to the room and finding her asleep in my bed mid-day, checking my location to see where I was, and bringing Molly’s Cupcakes home after her dishwashing shift. Freshman year, the three of us spent countless nights sitting on the floor in a circle, drinking tea, playing Uno, and carefully splitting cupcakes into thirds...something we did WAY too often for how "healthy" we were. Anna truly has a heart of gold. She judges no one and has always accepted me exactly as I am, even when she didn’t necessarily agree with my choices. She definitely watched me make some very questionable decisions during college, but she was always all-in on our friendship. After college, Anna married her college boyfriend, Jon, whose relationship updates I had the privilege of hearing about every step of the way. I was lucky enough to stand beside her when she said “I do.” Life has taken us through long-distance friendship, different jobs, and different states, but we’ve stayed close through it all. Now we’re both boy moms and fully domesticated and it’s finally her turn to watch me marry my man.
