Miami Favorites

We’re so excited to celebrate with you at Club of Knights this October! If you’re planning to spend a little extra time in Miami (highly recommend), here are some of our favorite spots to eat and unwind! Rideshares (Uber/Lyft) are your best bet, as parking can be tricky. Dress light, as you will likely be sweaty. We can’t wait to see you soon! Let us know if you need help planning place to eat on your trip — we’ve got you covered. 💛

The Grape Ape

7400 Southwest 57th Court, South Miami, FL 33143

The Grape Ape is a vibrant wine bar and restaurant nestled in the heart of South Miami and right next to our house. Helmed by award-winning chef Giorgio Rapicavoli, known for his work at Eating House and Luca Osteria, Grape Ape offers an international menu that blends Mediterranean and Spanish influences with a contemporary twist. The wine program also offers an extensive selection of wines that complement the diverse menu. You can even hand-pick a bottle of wine from a variety of options to pair with your meals! The menu showcases a selection of small plates and larger entrées that emphasize bold flavors and fresh ingredients. Our favorite dishes include: Manchego Croquetas, Yellowfin Tuna Tataki, Grilled Lamb Chops with Grape Saba, and Butcher's Steak with Shoestring Fries

Miami Slice

1335 Northeast Miami Court, Miami, FL 33132

Worth the wait. If you're even kind of into pizza, go. It's not your typical slice shop—it’s more like if a chef-obsessed pizza lab and a NYC bodega had a baby in Miami. The hot honey drizzle lives up to the hype. Our Favorite Slices: Bacon & Leeks Slice – A white pie with crispy bacon, caramelized leeks, and a creamy béchamel base. Pepperoni Prince: Loaded with crispy pepperoni cups and chili honey drizzle. Truffle Slice: White pie with mushrooms, truffle oil, and an addictive umami flavor.

Luca Osteria

116 Giralda Avenue, Coral Gables, FL 33134

We went here for our first dating anniversary and loved it enough to come back for other special occasions. If you're looking for a cozy, elegant dinner spot while you're in town, Lucca Osteria & Bar is one of our top picks. Located in Coral Gables, it’s an Italian restaurant with a warm, welcoming vibe with a great wine list + excellent cocktails and stylish indoor and outdoor seating. Our Favorites: Patate Fritte — crispy potato balls under a silky parmigiano fonduta with black truffle oil and egg yolk. Cacio e Pepe – Tossed in a giant wheel of pecorino. Yes, a whole cheese wheel. Short Rib Ravioli – Rich, house-made, and absolutely insane. Truffle Gnocchi – Pillowy-soft pasta with truffle butter and parmesan. Tiramisu – Classic and perfectly done.

Havana Harry's

4612 South Le Jeune Road, Coral Gables, FL 33146

A family-style Cuban favorite near Miracle Mile, Havana Harry’s has been delighting locals and visitors for nearly 30 years. Known for its generous portions, lively vibe, and mix of traditional and modern Cuban dishes. It’s considered one of Miami’s top Cuban dining experiences. Our favorites: Palomilla Steak: Thin Cuban-style steak seasoned and topped with onions, served with rice, beans, and plantains. Vaca Frita: shredded beef sautéed with onions, garlic, lime, served over rice & beans (and always a side of tostones)
