Yes, this is a formal wedding and formal attire is required.

What is formal wedding attire?

Formal attire for men consists of a suit and dress shoes. A tuxedo is optional, but a suit will be required. Formal attire for women can consist of a formal dress or a more elegant cocktail dress.

Of course!! We actually prefer that guests wear black. And no we do not see it as a sign of protest.

Yes, we will be having an open bar. Tips will be greatly appreciated.
