Valley of Fire

It is located about an hour northeast of the Las Vegas strip. This is our favorite place when the weather isn't too hot!
Mount Charleston
Mount Charleston, NV 89124
It is located about an hour northwest of the Las Vegas strip. The weather here is usually 10-20 degrees cooler than the valley.
Red Rock Canyon
1000 Scenic Loop Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89161
It is located about 30 minutes west of the Las Vegas strip. This is a 13 mile scenic loop that you can drive. Off of the loop there are over 20 different hikes or varying length, difficulty, and views. There is a $15 fee to enter per car.
Hoover Dam
NV 89005
It is located about an hour east of the Las Vegas strip. It is open 7 days a week from 9AM - 5PM to the public. Tours of the power plant are available.
