Sophee and Mike met in April of 2023, just two days after she moved to town for a new job. Sophee was sitting alone at a restaurant just a few chairs away from Mike. He eventually worked up the courage to strike up a conversation, and they talked and laughed for hours. What began as a simple introduction quickly turned into something much more. Mike offered to show her around, and before long, they were spending all their time together. They bonded over good food, good laughs, and spontaneous adventures that made everything feel easy and exciting. Looking back, it’s clear that God was writing their story long before they ever met, bringing them together at exactly the right time. It didn’t take long for them to realize they had found something special. They fell in love quickly, but in a way that felt completely natural, like they had been best friends for years. Since then, they’ve built a beautiful life together and welcomed their two amazing children, Claira and Michael. Mike brought Sophee back to one of their very first date spots at Pinchot State Park. He told her they were just taking couples photos, but instead, he completely surprised her by getting down on one knee and asking her to spend forever with him. What started as a random, fateful moment turned into the best thing that’s ever happened to them, and they wouldn’t change a thing.
