Our story began like all great love stories of the 21st century - over social media. In 2018, a University of Arkansas Class of 2022 Instagram page was created for incoming students, where you could send in a picture and description of yourself and meet other people also attending the university. We began following each other from this page and, shortly after, messaging each other about becoming friends once we arrived on campus in the fall. We officially met the day before classes began and a friendship immediately formed. At the time, we were both pursuing degrees in Biology as pre-medical students, so we spent a lot of time studying together in the library. We became boyfriend and girlfriend on September 24, 2018, which is why we chose this date for our wedding! Now, we have both graduated from the University of Arkansas - Mikey with a degree in Supply Chain Management, and Sidney with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Legal Studies - and will be moving to Kansas City, MO over the summer. Mikey has accepted a position as a Procurement Agent at a company called Kiewit, and Sidney will be attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. We are both so excited about what awaits us in our future, and can't wait to celebrate with you!
