We met in California at an Ihop where I was a waitress during the graveyard shift. This was Michael's first time in El Centro for work since he had just started with Vertex Aerospace on February 14th, 2011. He stumbled in close to 2:00am by himself and I served him the breakfast sampler with scrambled eggs and a raspberry lemonade. He asked me what there was to do in town since he has never been. I told him there was not much to do in my small town, but that Mexicali was just 10 minutes away and that was where the fun was at. We would always hang out and have the greatest times together when he was in town. From baseball games in Mexicali, to going to eat REAL tacos, to a day trip to San Diego for a game at Petco Park or a stroll at Fashion Valley Mall, to just barhopping in my little hometown, WE HAD A FUCKEN BLAST! We became really good friends over the years. We lost touch a few times throughout the years but always managed to find our way back to each other.
