I first saw Shanshan when she was taking her laundry to the laundry room. She lived in the same college dorm as me. I thought she really beautiful, although I was too nervous at the time to go up and speak to her. The next time I saw her was at the cafeteria. What I remember most was the ice cream she was eating. It was strawberry ice cream. I took this chance to go and talk to her. From that point on I continued to talk to her more as we passed one another in the dorm. A couple weeks went by and I gathered up the courage to ask her out. After that the rest is pretty much history and here I am today with my beautiful fiancé Shanshan Chen. Every now and then we stay at home and some strawberry ice cream to remind us of how we first met.
