Whatever you want! We won't be wearing ties so you shouldn't feel pressured to either. For Thursday evening in the garden, please bear in mind that the ground is lined with gravel, so flats or wedges are recommended.
The Catskills are decidedly mellow! Think eat, drink, hike, swim, repeat. Scribner's has put together a much cuter and more thorough guide to local attractions than we ever could, it can be found here: scribnerslodge.com/welcome/the-lodge/catskills-guide/
We know that our guests will all be traveling from far and wide to join us in the Catskills, and your presence on our special day is truly all that we could ever want. However, if you wish to gift further, we would be honored if you would make a donation to one of the following organizations: Animal Care Centers of NYC, where they took wonderful care of Ronnie! (nycacc.org) Better Shelter (bettershelter.org) The Ali Forney Center for LGBTQ Youth (aliforneycenter.org).
Yes, please! Our gathering is intentionally dog and kid friendly. Just please let us know who you will be bringing along.
Scribner's is unfortunately not easily accessible by public transportation so a car will likely be your best bet. However, we have centralized all of our wedding activities at Scribner's so that no driving will be necessary once you've arrived. If anyone needs help arranging a carpool from NYC, please let one of us know and we will do our best to help!
No problem! There are many Airbnb options in the Catskills should that be more your speed or you desire more space. Some good towns to begin your search would be Hunter, Tannersville, Windham, Catskill and Phoenicia. Please reach out to one of us if you need any additional guidance!
