Almost Ramos …

To start … we both met at A CJones High school when we were teens .. casually saying hi as we made it to class … but the universe had other plans in mind and we choose different paths . Over 20 years later he befriends me on face book and we fall in love and build a home . 20 years later we reconnected on Facebook(he stalked my page) and we caught up on what life journeys we had during those years. It turns out the universe chose us both to raise our children as single parents . He lived in our home town raising his 3 children and I was living in Dallas raising my 4 . After a month of texting and talking we decided on Sept 14 2021 to try to make this work, we had so much in common with our past and our life challenges it just made sense.. with such a strong connection we started long distant dating, each month taking turns to drive across Texas to see each other and eventually get to know each others kids . We’ve celebrated Kids birthdays, our kids graduations, and also the births of grandchildren. It’s been an amazing journey and now with our families blessing He ask on Nov 5. 2022 and I said YES!!! We are excited to have everyone join us as we blend two amazing families and become one❤️

Dating almost two years, 2022 has been crazy busy for us.. we be came grandparents to a beautiful baby girl Neveah, 2 of our daughter graduating , 2 of our daughters pregnant , my sister getting married( I was the maid of honor) and then moving back to Beeville to start our new life together .. with all the planning to make sure our kids would be settled and my baby sister wedding to be perfect , in the back ground unknown to me my sister, Michael and both our families were planning a surprised proposal .. I couldn’t believe the secret every one kept .. and with all the business of my sisters special day and me making sure it went well with no hiccups … btw there were a ton of hiccups .. Thank God for alcohol but her wedding went as smooth as we could ,very beautiful and fun .. then the time comes for her to throw the bouquet.. Omg …I’m getting ready and get my girls ready and I tell my daughters the 5 D in dodgeball.. Dodge Dive, Dip, duck,&dodge lol we were on a mission and they’re going along with my silly ness . When it happens I’m confused thinking my sister just got her dress caught or something and as she walks towards me I ask her “what are you doing” she smiles and whispers “just turn around” .. grabbing the bouquet,turning around to see my handsome on one knee”I know that must have hurt at our old age” asking me to marry him! Such a blessing for those that know our past story and have been were we came from, it’s so amazing to share our love story and be able to show what love is and how it feels for our kids!!!
