Samantha Holeton
Maid of Honor
The one & the only... Sammie Faye! The best little sister one could ask for. Sam is energetic, assertive, and confident- some of the best qualities a maid of honor needs! Sam and Sarah have known each other for a solid 25 years and have stood alongside each other during all the stages of life, from diapers and learning to walk to starting school, first boyfriends, graduations, surgeries, and so much more. Still, one of the most exciting stages is having Sam stand beside Sarah during the day she marries the love of her life. Sam embodies being a rock to lean on and truly being a "ride or die" friend for the people she loves. She truly loves hard and is always thinking of others, qualities that Sarah absolutely loves about her sister! Sarah is so excited to have her standing by her side as she marries Michael and all the festivities to come!
Robert Wendt
Best Man
Robert and Michael go back to middle school, where they played junior high football together. Although they graduated the same year, Michael and Robert didn't run in the same circles and lost contact after high school. Robert went on to become a pastor and after some life events for Michael, they ended up meeting for coffee approximately one year before Sarah and Michael met. Around one year later, Sarah was telling her best friend Jessica (Robert's wife) about this guy she was going to go on a date with and crazy enough- Robert heard our conversation and remembered Michael and the coffee they had a year earlier. Dating in this day and age can be nerve-wracking, but Robert confirmed that Michael was a good guy and now the rest is history. Since then, Michael and Robert's friendship has grown, as Robert has been someone who guides, mentors, and challenges Michael. Robert has been a steadfast and consistent friend to both Sarah and Michael, which is why they are so happy he is not only Michael's best man but also their officiant!
Jessica Wendt
Matron of Honor
Jessica & Sarah have become the closest of friends over the last 7 or so years! Meeting at church, their relationship with Jesus has genuinely been the anchor to their friendship- along with their love for Grey's Anatomy (the old episodes though- let's be real), Thursday night wine nights, and playing living room football with her little dudes. Sarah truly values Jessica's friendship so much, as she is one of the most authentic people she knows and has always been there for Sarah- through the valleys and on the mountaintops. Jessica is so much more than a friend; she is Sarah's best friend and matron of honor. Sarah can't imagine her big day without Jess by her side. Although their taste in wines may differ (Sarah sweet tooth is wayyy more prominent than Jessica's), these two embody being each other's "person" through all the seasons of life.
Jonathan Rentz
Groomsman
Jonathan, or better known as Jon or even better as Buddha, is Michael's youngest brother. Buddha and Michael grew especially close during the pandemic, where the entire Rentz family spent most of that time up north on their new property. Michael and Buddha get along well, especially when discussing politics, guns, or technology. Michael and Sarah are extremely glad to have Buddha standing by them as they get married!
Hannah Carden
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Hannah met back in 2017, and their friendship has grown so beautifully since then. Their friendship started with Sarah nervously joining a small group through a local young adult group, where Hannah led. Hannah so graciously came alongside Sarah and showed her Christ's love through their friendship; since then, it has only continued to develop. Over the years, Sarah and Hannah have been able to make some incredible memories together, from Sarah standing beside Hannah as her bridesmaid while she married the love of her life to trips exploring the mountains in West Virginia ending in Sarah getting a pretty speeding ticket while driving home (for real). Hannah truly embodies selflessness and thoughtfulness to all she encounters and Sarah is so excited to have someone as sweet as Hannah in her life and standing beside her as she marries Michael!
Tony Moceri
Groomsman
Tony and Michael met around 3 years ago, where Tony has played a crucial role in Michael's life. Tony has been a mentor and friend, and they have had many conversations to ensure each other are striving to be men reflecting Christ. Tony and his wife Kristen have come alongside Michael and Sarah to be mentors and encouragers, and they both appreciate them so much. Tony is definitely the life of the party, so having him as a groomsman ensures a good time will be had- or at least some decent golf! Sarah and Michael and so glad he agreed to stand up in their wedding!
Kristen Moceri
Bridesmaid
Kristen and Sarah have been going to the same church for over 15+ years; however, their friendship has taken on a whole new level in the last few years. Kristen has served as a mentor and friend for Sarah and truly has pointed her to Christ during highs and lows. Kristen is the type of friend you always know is there for you, whether it's a late-night talk or getting breakfast at a cafe on Fridays- she is the type of person who always shows up. They have had the ability to serve together on their church's worship team and serve their significant others with some smack talk during a round of golf, all of which making some special memories together. Kristen and Tony have both been a huge encouragement to Sarah and Michael and they both couldn't be more excited for them to be a part of their big day!
Maureen Rentz
Mother of the Groom
Maureen, Moe, Moe Moe, Dirty Moe, Mom... She'll answer to any one of those! Maureen is the mother of the groom & Sarah and Michael are so grateful for her! Maureen has raised up 4 boys, so she definitely knows how to get things done & is such a hard worker! Especially when Michael and Sarah bought their house, she was the queen of all things paint and wallpaper in that kitchen! Maureen and Michael's relationship has changed so much over the years for the better. They truly are so close and his mom means the world to him. Maureen also has a big place in Sarah's heart, as Maureen always has been there for her and gives her some great advice. The bride and groom can't thank Maureen enough for all she and Matt have done to get Michael and Sarah to the altar!
Deanna Holeton
Mother of the Bride
Deanna, or "Dee", or even better known as Mama Bear, is the wonderful mother of the bride! Sarah and her mom have a very special relationship- so much beyond just a mother and daughter. They truly have become so close that some may mistake them as best friends instead of mom and daughter! This day truly wouldn't be possible without Sarah's mom. She has been a big supporter and invested so much into making June 8th the perfect day for Sarah and Michael! Michael also can not wait to become the official "favorite son-in-law" of Sarah's mom and dad! They truly can not thank her enough for all she has done! Deanna is a wonderful mother and Sarah looks up to her in all the ways she excels in being a wife, mother, and friend.
Matthew Rentz
Father of the Groom
Matt Rentz- the father of the groom! Matt is such a great dad and Michael and Sarah are super thankful for all he does! Matt always has the tools you need and can basically solve any problem with enough time watching youtube! Michael has gotten so much of his knowledge of fixing things up by watching his dad throughout all his years and has picked up a few good habits- like how his dad always picks up flowers for Maureen whenever he goes to the grocery store, a habit Michael has also begun. Sarah also appreciates this habit that Matt has inadvertently taught Michael! Sarah and Michael are so grateful to have two sets of parents that love each other and love them!
Dan Holeton
Father of the Bride
Dan the man! The famous father of the bride! You won't want to miss this guy on June 8th- as Dan is truly a guy that can light up any room and be the life of the party. Sarah's dad is one of a kind, from always being supportive to having the biggest heart out there, he is an amazing father, friend, and husband. Dan and Michael have also grown to become close, especially sharing their love for golf, beer, and giving Dan's friends and brother a hard time. Dan has played a huge role as well in getting the bride and groom to this day. Sarah is so appreciate that her dad is definitely one that will always make her smile and she can't wait to walk down the aisle with him! Michael and Sarah have truly appreciated all the love and support that he has shown. They can't wait to celebrate the day with Dan the Man!
MaKenna Pulford
Flower Girl
Cute & Kenna go hand in hand and that is the perfect mixture for the best flower girl! Kenna is Michael's second cousin, but always is the first one to give him a hug! Kenna will be the perfect flower girl for Sarah and Michael, as she is a sweet as she is cute! They can't wait for her to line the aisle in flower petals right before Sarah comes down the aisle!
Owen and Jacob Wendt
Ring Security
Nothing is going to get past these two on June 8th! Our ring security will have everything on lock! Jacob and Owen are two special kiddos to Michael and Sarah, meaning they couldn't imagine saying "I do" without them in their wedding party! Jake and Owen have the special task of ensuring those expensive circular finger things don't get lost and that the little ring bearer makes it down the aisle for them!
Isaac Wojt
Ring Bearer
The bride and groom's Godson is the one they are entrusting with their rings! This little cutie, Isaac, will be a spicy 23 months old and ready to book his way to his favorite "auntie" and "uncle" to help them tie the knot!
