Wedding Gifts & FAQs

Whilst you coming to the wedding is gift enough, and we appreciate that people are travelling from all over the world, if you do wish to give us a gift, we have set up a wedding registry with the travel agents, Trailfinders. Please see details below: https://www.trailfinders.com/wishlist#/faf-login Go to 'Make a Contribution' Surname: Lintern Wishlist Reference: 5BKMB1 Alternatively, we would be delighted for you to contribute your gift as a donation to charity. Either Best Buddies International (https://www.bestbuddies.org/) - who Mike has run the Boston Marathon for, or National Centre for Deafblindness (https://www.nationaldb.org/), who Sarah's dad volunteers for. Also feel free to donate to any charity close to your heart, these are just suggestions. Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by the 30th April. We understand the situation is fluid at the moment given COVID, so please just give your best answer assuming it will be OK by then!

Question

Are we invited to the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

YES! If you are invited, you are invited to the whole day, so buckle up for a dose of church and party to follow!

Question

The invite is addressed to me and my partner, but are our children invited too?

Answer

Unfortunately not, we made the tough decision to make this an adult only wedding. Given the venue and the timings we wanted to make sure that all adults coming could truly let their hair down and enjoy themselves!

Question

Do we need to bring any money or cash with us?

Answer

Yes please! We will be covering drinks at the opening reception & all wine, beer and soft drinks for the evening, as well as some cocktails. But if you would prefer to stick to spirits and mixers then please bring some funds for the cash bar.

Question

What time does the wedding end?

Answer

Carriages at 12am.

Question

What happens if COVID is still a thing?

Answer

Well.... honestly we have our fingers crossed it won't be - but stay tuned and if it is still an issue we will send out communication!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Whoever is on your invite, is who is invited. While we would love for everyone to be able to bring a date it just isn't possible.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is you wearing what you feel comfortable in, and what is wedding appropriate! The groomsmen by choice will be wearing tuxes/black tie. Please feel free to join if you are so inclined, but no pressure.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony itself starts at 4pm so please aim to arrive 10-15 minutes before this.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Please see the 'Timings for the Day' page for information on parking. Parking is tricky in London, so we recommend public transport and UBERs where possible.

For all the days along the way
