Flume Gorge
The Flume is a natural granite gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty. Only a 20 minute drive away from the wedding venue! Can be done as a 2 mile loop trail but gorge is only a half mile from visitor center parking lot. During summer months best to make a reservation online to ensure availability.
Franconia Notch State Park
Over 34 different hiking trails available here at all different levels. Also home to Echo Lake Beach which is a great place for kayaking, canoeing, and pedal boating. Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway offers a stunning view of all the park without the hike. Profile lake which is open to only fly fishing and is located beneath the famous rock formation The Old Man of the Mountain that collapsed in 2003. The Basin is also a popular attraction at the base of a waterfall with a short hike.
