I thought it would be nice to tell my version and then Michael’s We met at our mutual friend, Charlie Martinez house for a wine soirée. I came in and saw a very tall, very handsome guy reclining against the counter in the kitchen. I didn’t think he noticed me but when I was having trouble opening up the wine bottle, he suddenly materialized offering to help. Funny part is he got the cork stuck. Michael says he noticed my nice smile and thought I was pretty. He saw I was having trouble opening the bottle of wine and offered to help. The cork got stuck and broke in half. A wasted bottle of wine but one heck of an ice breaker .

Around New Years I came to the realization that it was time. My mind finally accepted what my heart had long ago already known. I wanted to make this woman my wife. As to where to propose that was a no brainer. I chose her favorite place, Disneyland. She had no clue but did ask if I was feeling ok and did we still want to go. I chose the Ferris wheel because I wanted somewhere quiet but had a nice view. Being close to Valentines Day was the perfect opening for me to talk about what she means to me. The rest is happy history !
