Delaney Shea

Rob met Delaney in high school—she was dressed as the Mean Green Mother from her Musical Little Shop of Horrors performance, and he instantly knew they’d be friends. Since then, they have seen each other through many life adventures, including prom, countless family events, brunches, international adventures, and even a brief but wonderful time as neighbors during the pandemic. She was the one Rob gushed about Mike to in the early days of their relationship, and became a fixture in our love story.

Tyler Waddell

Rob and Tyler met when Tyler moved from North Carolina and quickly hit it off. Their friendship has been built on a shared love of great food, Dolores Park days, Marvel movies, sitcoms & anime, and one memorable trip to Disneyland with Rob’s sister, Katie. Over the years, they've shared countless laughs, inside jokes, and an easy, honest friendship. Rob feels lucky to have him in his life, and even luckier to have him as a groomsman.

Lex Arroyo

Rob and Lex share a friendship rooted in loyalty, honesty, and mutual understanding. Lex has always seen Rob clearly, and that deep understanding has made their bond unshakable. Whether it was days the two of them, joined by Tyler, would explore San Francisco, the two of them high-end shoe shopping for Lex, patronizing Castro bars, or bonding over puppy parenthood, they've always had each other’s backs. Lex is tough, tatted, and fiercely dedicated—but also a soft-hearted, steady presence in Rob’s corner.

Rob met Jordan through their fraternity, where they quickly bonded over their shared sass, sharp humor, and ability to find joy in the most random moments. From volunteering as DDs the first weekend of the semester to get it out of the way, watching random comedies (and quoting them regularly), to road trips around the midwest, their friendship was built on laughter, dependability, and late-night McDonald’s birthday cake. Jordan is quirky, thoughtful, and always fully present—offering the kind of support that’s both grounding and hilarious.

Luis Torres

Rob met Luis after posting a Craigslist ad for a roommate—he received dozens of responses, but Luis stood out immediately, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions he ever made. As two gay twenty-somethings from the Bay Area working in tech, they quickly formed a deep and honest friendship while navigating career moves and life’s highs and lows. Luis brought curiosity, creativity (he was pursuing a second career as a rapper when they lived together), and a grounded presence. Even though they no longer live together, every conversation still picks up like no time has passed. He’s witnessed Rob’s growth firsthand and remains one of the most genuine, ride-or-die people in his life.

Phil Golding

Rob and Phil became friends in high school, and their friendship quickly took shape during countless lunches spent in the art room, where Phil’s humor and unmistakable personality made every day more entertaining. Phil has always been a true character—funny, engaging, effortlessly cool, and a natural joker who seems to know everyone in the room. After spending some time living in Portland, Phil eventually moved back to the Bay Area, and it felt like no time had passed at all. Through every phase of life, Phil has remained the same magnetic, laugh-a-minute friend Rob has always been lucky to have by his side.
