We met in March of 2023 in Fort Collins and fell for each other faster than either of us expected. Not long after, we moved in together and started building a life that felt easy and meant to be. Our first place was a little walk-out basement in Castle Rock — just the two of us and Chloe. In January 2023, we added Hank to the chaos, and our tiny home felt full in the best, happiest way. Later that year, we moved to Monument, and every step we took together kept proving how right our story felt. By March of 2025, we were ready for our next big adventure: buying our first home back in Castle Rock. With each move, each memory, and each chapter, our lives blended together more naturally than we ever imagined. Then came August 16th, 2025 — the day Mike pulled off the biggest surprise of all. While we were fly fishing on his family’s property, he asked me to marry him with a ring made from diamonds passed down by both of our mothers. It was personal, sentimental, and so perfectly “us.” Our relationship has been a blessing from the start — full of love, meaning, and memories that already feel timeless. Now, with our pups, our home, and a lifetime ahead of us, we can’t wait for all the chapters still to come.
