We're getting married!

We met in high school through our church youth group. Laura was friends with Michael’s middle brother, which is how they first got to know each other. They started spending time together—meeting up at coffee shops, bakeries, and studying together. Michael helped tutor Laura in her dual enrollment math class. When Michael left for college and Laura began her senior year of high school, they lost touch. Over the next two years, they would text occasionally and see each other during school breaks. After Michael finished his sophomore year of college and Laura finished her freshman year, Michael reached out again. This time, their friendship began to grow into something more. Eventually, Michael asked Laura to be his girlfriend. A year and seven months later, he asked her if they could spend the rest of their lives together.
