We're Getting Married!

We met during the summer of 2019 at Little Owl Cafe in Fairbanks Alaska. We quickly became very close and once we realized our dogs all got along the rest is history.

We planned a trip to Hawaii and due to COVID had to push it off multiple times. During the waiting period my dad came to visit, May 2021, and without my knowledge Mike asked him for permission to marry me. Fast forward to our first few hours in Hawaii, we were finally on the beach setting up our towels. I was babbling on about going in the water and turned around and Mike was on one knee. He handed me a ring box and in Mike fashion says "So are we doing this or what?" I obviously said yes and spend the rest of the trip celebrating.
