4:30 pm - 8:30 pm
This is an Indian pre-wedding ceremony where the family and close friends come together and apply the turmeric paste (Haldi) on the bride and groom. In our search for the significance of this event, our favourite find was that "the antioxidant curcumin found in turmuric is known to counter the nervous feelings and thus helps to calm and relax the to-be couple before they tie the knot"
There will be food and refreshing drinks after the event. The menu is a surprise! We would recommend wearing an Indian attire, however if you do not own one, wear your 2nd favourite colourful piece of clothing you own (as you want to save your favourite for the wedding)
6:00 am - 10:00 am
