We're getting Married!

Mike and Rachel met through their mutual friends Heather and Billy. Heather suggested Rachel come over to Billy's for dinner and a game night to meet his roommate who was really into hiking and all things outdoors! She thought they would have a lot in common. Heather had talked about Mike before, and Rachel had seen him at a music show and stalked him from afar while he was on a date with someone else. Rachel agreed to come over for dinner to meet this handsome outdoorsman. Mike ended up working late and was sick... he showed up late to dinner but managed to still make a pretty good first impression. They played cards with friends, betting quarters, and Rachel cleaned house. Soon after they went on their first date, to see Isle of Dogs and Rachel snuck a HydroFlask full of wine into the movie theater. Mike was impressed by her thriftiness and knew he had met his match! Soon after, they moved in together and the rest was history. Mike proposed on Halloween of 2022. They are FINALLY tying the knot Halloween 2026 which is very fitting as they both love a crisp fall day in a metropark.
