Thanks for stopping by! We are so thankful to the Lord for bringing us together and are SO excited to celebrate the start of our marriage with you.

Well, initially Michael and I met at our friends' wedding in 2018. But nothing happened then. We weren't ready, and it just wasn't the Lord's timing. I am not sure we said more than a few sentences to each other. But this past March, I was visiting those same friends in KC, Mason and Amanda Cover, and meeting their new baby, Annie. I think it's fair to say that Amanda has been shipping Michael and I for quite some time. And this time, I was ready. And so was Michael. The Covers invited him over for a game night. We four had dinner together and played the Crew. It wasn't love at first sight, but I was definitely making mental notes that I really liked what I was seeing. :) Michael's thoughts were similar because he asked me out for BBQ the next day, which I wasn't expecting, but was SO glad he did. We decided after that first date that we wanted to keep getting to know each other. After plenty of FaceTime dates, and a few trips to each other's cities, it was clear that we had each found our person, our "kindred spirit" as Anne of Green Gables would say, and love started to grow. And now we are getting married a year later to the day that we "re-met" each other. ❤️ We are so thankful and excited to start this new chapter of our lives together!
