Every wedding is a unique celebration of different religion, culture, language, and more, the same can be said about Nigerian weddings. Nigeria is home to many tribes so depending on the tribe there will be differences. however there are certain things to expect despite the difference in culture, elaborate attire, great food, entertainment, and specific Nigerian traditions. Another thing that all Nigerian weddings will include is "spraying" this is the time where guests spray the couple with cash on the dance floor. Lastly the fruit from the kola tree is usually broken and shared amongst guest as a sign of respect and gratitude towards one-another. Majority of our traditions will be done during the Ime ego the bride price ceremony. Be ready for some good food, great company, and lots of fun.
