We're getting married!

The story of how we met is very different depending on who you ask. What's certain is that we met in the sauna at the Culver City LA Fitness after finding out we grew up in neighboring cities through random chit chat. Little did I know, Michael already knew who I was through a mutual friend and would admire from afar like a creeper..hehe... After officially meeting, we were intrigued by each other and made sure to randomly run into each other at the gym to get to know each other a little bit more. Here's where our stories seem to differ... A few months later, Michael would ask me random questions when he'd see me.."Do you have a snap chat?" What do you post on snap chat?" "Want to see what I post?" Finally, I got the hint so asked him for his snap chat name so that I could add him. He's pretty slick!

It was absolutely amazing! Michael had been planning for months and I had no idea. Lizzie is pretty clever too! The entire time, I thought we were planning for a girls trip to celebrate my birthday. When the weekend came, I was more than happy to have a weekend getaway with the girls because Michael was being weird and clingy a few days before. The day he proposed, he showed me a video of a failed proposal and asked "Babe, when I finally propose, you'll say yes right??".. I laughed and walked away.. haha whoops! The entire day, the girls and I were having a great time. I was ready to turn up! Lizzie was worried about our reservations and I was being flexible with the time, per usual. Needless to say, we were late. On top of that, Nayivi's car ran out of gas once we got to the restaurant, Malibu Cafe (we didn't realize we were right outside), so that made us even more late. Once we finally were able to park, Lizzie and Nayivi were acting odd but I didn't think too much into it. We walk in and the next thing I hear is "Surprise!" I was so confused. I see Tyson running toward me with a box on his back and Michael right behind him.. I thought to myself "oh goodness he's messing around with me and there's an Apple Watch in there!" (You know, because Michael is a jokster!) Next thing you know, we're engaged! And our close friends and family were there! Poor Michael was a mess as he was waiting. They had to give him a shot and it was a hot day so he was sweating profusely while wondering where in the world can we be!
