For those traveling from out of state, Tri-Cities Airport is the closest airport to town, being about 45 minutes away from Abingdon. There are typically ubers and taxis that will take you from the airport to Abingdon. Tri-Cities is a smaller airport, so if there are limited flight options from your current location, we also recommend flying into Charlotte, Asheville, Knoxville or Roanoke and renting a car. D.C. friends - there are no direct flights from either D.C. airport, so we recommend making the drive down! It is about 5-5.5 hours from D.C./Northern Virginia.
