We’re Getting Married!

Michael and I have been dating for three years, engaged for two of those. It has easily been the best years of our lives. We were really good friends prior to dating, which is the best kind of way to start a relationship in my opinion. Our first year, we moved in together with two of our best friends (Georgee and Julian) who are standing by our side on our big day. He asked me to marry him in the first eight months of being together and of course I said yes. The second year we bought our own home. We brought in two dogs (Howiee and Cletus), have gotten SO close with several friends who we spend most of our weekends with. We even found out were adding a baby to our family! His name is Kaysen, and will be with us at the wedding at 4 months old! As were in our third year together, we’ve learned so much about eachother, grown so much love, and learned how to live through life together. Thank you for reading a small story on our lives throughout three years, we apprecaite you being with us every step of the way!

As we left a christmas eve party, at my grandmas house in Ohio. On the way home, Michael told me he was going to take me to go Ice Skating and look at christmas lights in Fishers, IN. So on the two hour drive, he kind of screwed up on letting me know that he asked my dad for his permisson to marry me. (A story) I had told him we should just elope. And well I cant tell you what he thought elope meant, but it wasnt right. Moral of the story, I explained what eloping meant (running away and getting married without permission is what google said) and his exact words were, but babe I already got your dads permission. LOL. My mouth dropped and he didnt say a word about it the rest of the way. We get to ice skating, its closed. SO cold out and he still made me get out & walk around the rink. We’re at the end, and im shaking so I start to sprint to the car, as im running he is yelling my name, I turn around and hes on one knee with the PRETTIEST ring ive ever seen. I have no idea what he said, he babbled. All I know is I said yes, and still ran to the car. Haha. We looked at john deeres christmas lights, and went home to his family & shared the news. Best thing I ever did was say yes to this man. 💗
