When should I RSVP by?

Answer

June 1, 2019. Please RSVP online at www.meandmrsjones.info You do not have to mail back an RSVP.

Nearby hotel availability?

Answer

Please review travel page. Nearby facilities include Delta Marriott and Courtyard Marriott. We highly recommend that you do not book with Embassy Suites Hotel Hunt Valley as they are currently under renovation.

Is there transportation to and from the host hotels to the venue?

Answer

Yes, however please keep in mind that most complimentary shuttles end approximately 10:00 p.m. and return service may not be available. Also, the host hotels are walking distance from the venue on the same plaza lot. Uber and Lyft are always standard transportation alternatives as well.

I or a relative have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Of course, just note it in your RSVP. If we receive your request in time (by June 14, 2019) , you will receive a phone call/email to confirm. If not, please make special accommodations accordingly.

Will there be a cash bar for alcohol?

Answer

No, there will be a complimentary bar available for all guests age 21 and over. #TurnUp #PartyTime #DontDrinkandDrive!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Pre-ceremony entertainment and refreshments are hosted 5:15-5:45 p.m. All guests must be seated by 5:50 p.m. Anyone arriving during the ceremony will be asked to remain in the lower level and will be welcomed to the cocktail hour and reception immediately following ceremony.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

By invitation or approved request in advance only please. The venue has a seating capacity compliance code.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, Free Parking. The wedding ceremony and reception are all onsite in the same location. The Grand Lodge parking lots can accommodate a maximum of 1,000 attendees.

Will the ceremony take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

In the heat of the summer in July, we will have an indoor ceremony in an air-conditioned facility.

Can I take pictures and/or videos and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, please feel free to do so, as most professional pictures will not be available immediately. We would greatly appreciate if you would use #meandmrsjones and kindly tag Michael & Monifa.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. Black-tie wedding/ Semi-formal Are ladies required to wear a gown? No. Although evening gowns are standard fare for black tie weddings, you can get away with a formal cocktail dress (of the longer variety) or even an elegant suit. Women have options — they can go a bit dressier and wear a formal floor-length gown, or they can choose a dressy cocktail dress, paired with heels or dressy flats. Dressy pants suits are also acceptable. For the men, a tuxedo isn't required, but the event is still formal enough for one to be appropriate. Men have the option of wearing a tuxedo or a formal dark suit, white shirt, and conservative tie. Wear darker, more formal colors for an evening wedding.
