Our wedding date has changed!!

It all started over a game of beer pong – like most true love stories. Moira’s friend Danielle brought her to Michael’s apartment for a party he was hosting in the fall of 2011 while they were both living in Boston. The game got heated and obscenities were thrown in addition to ping pong balls. Michael claims Moira was cheating, Moira claims Michael was a sore loser. Regardless of who won (Moira did) a friendship sparked. From late nights working at the Cheesecake Factory to snowy evenings locked indoors during the Boston blizzard(s) their friendship grew and slowly developed into something more. After six years in Boston and time spent long-distance while Michael was traveling for his job, they moved to Philadelphia ready to take on life in a new city. They moved into their first apartment together and adopted another kitten so Milo could have a baby brother. But before long, Michael’s job was ready to send them to another more permanent, warmer location: San Diego! Their trip to CA in June of 2019 ended up being more than just securing an apartment… After a romantic dinner on the water Michael told Moira they were meeting their friend Lindy at Sunset Cliffs to take photos and watch the sunset. Little did Moira know, but Michael and Lindy had something special planned! As they began to hike down the cliffs towards the edge Moira saw a picnic set up overlooking the water and heard “Brown-Eyed Girl” playing on repeat. This was it! Michael got down on one knee and Moira started uncontrollably crying…the start to their forever :)
