Our love story begins in Grand Ilse, Louisiana. It turns out a lot of our family and friends had to know each other for us to meet. Mignon had gone to the island to celebrate her brother’s birthday and some family had a friend of a friend with jet skies. Of course that friend with jet skies was Michael and from there the rest is history!

We decided to take a weekend trip to Nashville and with a little help from the family Michael decided it would be the perfect place to do it! When the day came to finally propose we headed to Belle Meade Plantation. We had a tour of the plantation and were heading to a wine tasting when a sweet photographer stopped Mignon to ask if she could take a picture of her and her friend. So of course she followed to the spot where they wanted to "take the photo" and after the photographer asked if she could take a photo of Mignon and Michael in exchange. That's when Michael got on one knee! We began to celebrate with Michael's family when suddenly Mignon's family came out to surprise her. It was the perfect weekend of celebrating love and family!
