FAQs

Question

What's the difference between the Ferry Boat and a Shuttle Boat?

Answer

The Ferry is a commercial boat owned and operated by the Catalina Express to get you from Long Beach to Avalon. You'll need to book a round trip ticket on your own. The shuttle boat is a 30 person, captain run boat, that will shuttle you from Avalon to the Venue and back. For those staying in Avalon, the shuttle boat will be running at various times so you don't miss out on the fun. Book your round trip Ferry tickets here: https://catalinaexpress.com/ After you book your Ferry and fill out the Guest Travel Form, we will send you your shuttle boat time.

Question

What is the Guest Travel Form?

Answer

This is a Google Form that will help us collect your arrival and departure times so we can accurately plan festivities and the shuttle boats. Fill this out after you've booked you accomodations and roundtrip ferry: https://forms.gle/NqAPCSGxRfipmhhN9

Question

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

At Camp Catalina on White's Landing. The ceremony, reception, and dinner all take place at the camp.

Question

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony promptly begins at 4pm. There will be pre-drinks served at 3:30 to encourage punctuality.

Question

What do I wear?

Answer

Think fun, fllirty, whimsical. Imagine yourself in your favorite fête galante. Garden Party meets Sorbet Sunset. Sun hats and parasols encouraged. Summer Suits absolutely acceptable. The ceremony, reception, and dinner will take place outside. The ground is uneven, and mostly dirt or grass. For our heel wearing friends, we suggest leaving the stilletos at home and opting for flats or something chunky. See Vibe's page for inspo pics.
