We were both at Dwyer's Bar in North Tonawanda. A local stomping ground. Mike was with his family and Melissa met out her friend, Karissa, who is also Mike's cousin. Mike went up to Karissa and asked "What's up with your friend". Karissa then proceeded to introduce us to one another. We chatted for a little bit and just as Mike was about to leave Melissa asked for his number and the rest is history.

We were on vacation in Destin, FL when Mike popped the question. One night we were walking along the beach as the sun was setting. Mike asked Melissa "Do you want to play a game". Gullible Melissa said "sure". Mike said "Close your eyes and spin around 3 times". After the last spin Melissa opened her eyes and Mike was on one knee with a beautiful ring in hand.
