We're getting married!!!

Our story began in the summer of 2016 when a mutual friend briefly introduced us. Later that fall, we unexpectedly ran into each other at an NC State tailgate (Go Pack!), thanks to yet another mutual friend. It turned out we had a lot of shared connections in school, but our paths didn’t cross again (we'll just say timing is everything!). However, our love story truly began after college when God led us both to Megan's hometown of Charlotte. In February 2022, we matched on Hinge and started texting our mutual friends to get some intel on each other. Mike was still working up the courage to make the first move when Megan took charge and said, "I think we've met before in college." Mike, who had always said he would never use dating apps, replied, “Well, since we’ve met, let’s skip the formalities on this stupid app and grab a drink.” After a few days, Mike finally gathered the courage to text Megan, to which she responded with a simple, “Mike who?” Mike, being the smartass he is, was immediately drawn to her after falling victim to someone else’s joke. Our first date at Reid’s Fine Foods was a success, where one drink turned into us being the last ones to leave after closing down the restaurant (those pretzel bites were just too good!). That day, a friendship was formed, and we all know what happened next!
