What is the best way to get to Peterborough?

Answer

Peterborough is about ~90 min Northeast of Toronto city center. For folks coming from the States, we recommend flying into Pearson or Billy Bishop airports and renting a car for the drive to Peterborough. There is an option for public transport via GO Transit- feel free to reach out to us if you would Iike to learn more about this option. Transportation from Peterborough hotels and the ceremony will be provided- details will be shared closer to the date.

What COVID protocols are in place?

Answer

Our goal is to ensure that guests are as comfortable as possible throughout the entire weekend. Our venues require that all guests bring proof of full vaccination status. In addition, we will be monitoring and will adjust masking policies in line with local public health guidelines.

Is there a dress code?

Recommended dress code: Friday Welcome Drinks: Smart Casual Saturday Ceremony and Reception: Black Tie Optional Sunday Farewell Brunch: Casual

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We request that all guests arrive at Lakefield College School by 4:15pm- we will plan to kick off the ceremony at 4:30pm

Are children invited?

Answer

We respectfully request that Friday and Saturday activities are adults only

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have coordinated a few hotel options in Peterborough- please see Travel tab for more specifics

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We will arrange for shuttle bus transportation between Holiday Inn, Inn at Peterborough, and Best Western and Lakefield College School. Exact schedule will be shared closer to the weekend.
