Yes! Please join us in Elevated Cocktail Attire. Long or midi dresses are encouraged, as well as suits; ties are optional. Fun spring florals and colors encouraged!
The drive between the ceremony at the Citadel Summerall Chapel in downtown Charleston and reception venue at the Citadel Beach Club on Isle of Palms is about 30–40 minutes. The ceremony begins at 3:00 PM, and cocktail hour starts at 5:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to make the drive safely without rushing. We also encourage out-of-town guests to stay near Isle of Palms for convenience—both for getting back to your accommodations at the end of the night and for the option to stop by your accommodations between the ceremony and reception if you’d like.
Due to venue capacity, we were limited to inviting only our closest friends and family. Your invitation specifies exactly who is included—if a plus-one was offered, it will be listed on your invitation.
We love your little ones, but we kindly request an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding!
Yes! Both venues have ample parking. The ceremony will take place on The Citadel campus, which offers plenty of on-campus parking as well as nearby street parking. The reception venue also has generous on-site parking available for all guests.
