Do I need a passport to get into Mexico?

Answer

Yes! Your passport needs to be valid six months beyond your return date. See travel page for more details and links to the State Department website to either apply for or renew your passport.

Do I need a negative COVID-19 test to get into Mexico or back into the US?

Answer

No! As of June 14, 2022, you do NOT need proof of a negative COVID test for entry into Mexico or return to the US from Mexico. We will update this page if travel requirements change.

Which days should I fly in and out?

Answer

We recommend arriving on Thursday, April 13th to allow time for possible delays and settling in. You can fly out any time on Sunday, April 16th or after!

How do I get from the airport to The Cape?

You will need to pre-book transportation through our preferred vendor or find additional transit arrangements. Stay tuned for more info!

What dates should I book a hotel?

Answer

To receive the wedding block discount at The Cape, you will need to reserve a room for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Is the Cape Hotel all-inclusive?

Answer

The Cape is not an all-inclusive hotel.

What if I'm not staying at The Cape?

Answer

If you are not staying at The Cape, you will need to arrange transportation to and from the airport and all wedding events through your hotel.

Do I need to bring cash in US dollars or Pesos?

Answer

We would suggest bringing cash (USD) for transportation payment and tips. You will be able to use credit cards for most purchases and there are ATMs for both pesos and American dollars

THREE DAYS IN MEXICO IS TOO SHORT. CAN I STAY LONGER?

Answer

Absolutely! Arrive as early and stay as late as you'd like. If you are staying at The Cape Thursday - Sunday, your discount will apply to your room three nights prior (starting Monday night) and three nights after (through the following Tuesday night).
