Matron of Honor
Marisha and Katlyn first met in high school, as they shared an AP Psych Class, sat 2 seats apart for an entire year, had several extremely close friends in common, and a picture together at Prom. But no no, that was not what kickstarted this friendship. It took 15 years for this duo to click! Now neither party can drive from Point A to Point B without having the other on the phone. They share an affection for quoting the Real Housewives of SLC, Olive Garden soupsaladbreadsticks, good Costco run and some steaming hot tea, baby. Katlyn has watched every moment of Marisha and Michael’s relationship and was the first to call a spade a spade when it came to the bride and groom’s mutual feelings.
Best Man
Michael's brother-in-law for 17 years. He's always up for talking sports, especially when it comes to his New York teams. There's never a shortage of opinions when one of his teams is playing. Whether we're talking about who's having a good season or arguing about who's overrated, there's never a shortage of sports conversation with Brian.
Bridesmaid
Marisha’s longest homie of the bunch, Marisha and Annabelle's story starts back in 2004. English is the second language in this relationship, as they cultivated their friendship sitting next to each other in Spanish class. They quickly realized their shared affection for Josh Hartnett in Pearl Harbor, Jason Mraz, talking to boys on AIM, and sharing coding secrets for the sickest Myspace skins. A mere 2 years later the two were separated by nearly an entire country as Annabelle moved to New Mexico to finish high school. Annabelle now lives in the Big Apple, dabbling in the film and modeling industries and playing host to Marisha on her periodic jaunts up north for a good yapfest.
Groomsman
Paul and Michael's first meeting began at Luca, where Paul taught him the ins and outs of making pizza. Since then, they've built a friendship that includes plenty of debates abaht the Steelers n' at. Paul also learned quickly that Michael can always find a way to jam him up, especially when they're giving each other a hard time.
Bridesmaid
Lisa and Marisha’s friendship began around the lunch table in sophomore year. The next 20 years were filled with prank wars, costume parties, roadtrips leading to little known roadside attractions and making friends with strangers in line for the bathroom, peppered generously with wine and cheese plates. The two are known to steal the show at a karaoke night (and what they lack in knowledge of the words, they make up for in showmanship). Catch them on the dancefloor doing something weird.
Groomsman
Michael's first work husband. Their love for video games and food blossomed into a strong friendship while working together at Luca. Whether we're making pizzas or just hanging out, Brandon always brings an infectious energy that brings joy to the room.
Bridesmaid
They say you find love in a hopeless place. For Marisha and Myrtle, that was the Tomato Bistro in Manayunk. Quickly inseparable, these two took Philadelphia by storm, on a quest to find the best slice of pizza or margarita. Every night was a movie night or sleepover, until years later when they finally signed a lease and became roommates. Separated by Marisha's move to Montana, Myrtle was always the first stop when she was back in Philadelphia.
Groomsman
Michael met Lewis through the food industry, where he was a regular at Luca and served over at The Horse Inn. Outside of the restaurant world, he's one of Michael's go-to golfing buddies. Between Magic: The Gathering and his impressive clam chowder skills, Lewis has many other talents you might not expect. Lewis is always down for a chat and has been a great friend over the years.
Bridesmaid
Marisha and Tess had to journey all the way from the east coast to the mountains of Montana to meet. These friends turned roommates, as one does in Staff Housing at Lone Mountain Ranch and spent their years together enforcing their roles as Ranch Royalty, becoming founding members of Bad Girls Club and generally taking the West by storm. They now spend their time driving (or flying) the I-95 corridor to visit each other or meet somewhere fun.
Groomsman
Sosa, as Michael calls him, was his OG dough boy at Luca. Their friendship has grown beyond the restaurant, from bowling and playing kickball to talking movies, video games, and sports. He's a big soccer guy who brings that competitive edge to the bowling alley, even if he still has some work to do when it comes to beating Michael.
Bridesmaid
Marisha’s first sister! :) Tosh first introduced his (then) girlfriend to his sister from across a porch mid-pandemic during Marisha’s move home from Montana. The two quickly clicked! And on a beautiful day in October 2023 Tosh and Leah tied the knot, uniting them all as family! While family trips have taken these two all over the country, their adventures together are just beginning!
Groomsman
Tosh is preparing to join the "Brother-in-law of the Groom" club. As the only member of this club under 6'7" he knows that there are big shoes to fill but he is ready to measure up. Tosh and Michael first had introductions at Valentino's Cafe before they had any idea what they were about to mean to each other. They quickly found lots to talk about, mostly in Pittsburghese and have been getting along swimmingly every since.
Bridesmaid
Marisha’s sister-to-be! Marisha and Christie first met on the phone, during one of Marisha and Mike’s infrequent nights apart. The McDonald family was celebrating Christmas together and little did they know, Marisha was wishing she could have been there too. Two years later, they were celebrating together. And 4 years beyond that, they will spend the holidays officially as family!
Groomsman
Labeled affectionately as "Youngest Future Brother-in-Law of the Groom by 7 minutes" Weston and Michael met for the first time at Valentinos, sure, but has made many cameos in nights on the town in Lancaster City since. He is a great source of Snapchat content and had an unrivaled affection for all 4 of our fur babies and might be the only person that can list them all by name (Bride and Groom excluded). Weston's wedding day role will be "Make sure sun is out of the groom's eyes" which shouldn't be a problem due to his ginormous stature.
Junior Groomsman
PJ is Michael's nephew and godson. He's a big New York sports fan, just like his father, and loves playing sports, especially basketball and baseball. He's also an avid sports card collector who's always looking to add to his collection. Whether it's playing baseball, shooting hoops, or getting into some kind of pool game, PJ is always ready to compete. It's a great way for the two of them to spend time together and for PJ to show just how out of shape Michael has gotten.
Flower Girl
The star of our show! Natalie is 5 whole years old! She has a deep affinity for K-pop Demon Hunters, Gabby's Dollhouse, and Bluey. She follows in her mother's footsteps with her affinity for soccer but has recently entered into the wild word of ballet lessons. On June 27, 2027 she gets to fulfill her lifelong dream of being a flower girl! Please, take the time to congratulate her on her accomplishments.
Ring Bearer
Marisha and Nico first met when he was a sweet little baby and she first had the pleasure of watching him grow into the young gentleman he is today. Measuring in at a whopping 7 years of age, he is a huge fan of Minecraft, Mario, hockey and playing piano and drums (although, all of that is subject to change by the time the wedding rolls around.) He is also a BIG fan of drawing. No diner placemat, piece of mail, or shred of paper is safe but the fridge is well decorated! If he is even half as good at keeping our rings safe as he is at drawing, we are confident they are in good hands!
Ring Bearer
Will Meyer is the youngest of the nephews! Guaranteed to take this job very seriously! Just as seriously as he takes Roblox, The Philadelphia Eagles, and the Phillies-- clearly the only man of the Meyer family with any sort of sense. He is known as the family fashionista. The red carpets are already chattering about who and what he will be wearing on the wedding day. We expect bling so who better to carry our ours?
Officiant
With the Honor of binding our marriage, we have assigned the guy with the coolest last name and the closest thing to a southern drawl we could find. Ryan and Marisha first met in Montana, as someone courting her dear friend. Her hesitance melted away instantly as Ryan gained us all access to the nicest hot tubs in Big Sky. Within no time, the two were establishing themselves as the most dynamic duo in restaurant management. As time went on, their friendship grew, and Michael was introduced as someone special. Ryan was there the night Michael and Marisha's relationship began, helped Marisha introduce Michael to the magic of Big Sky in the most fun double date ever, and now it makes sense that he would be there to begin this new phase of life for the couple.
