We met in the most romantic way, at a bar! We immediately hit it off and began our "Wednesday date nights" which started off with a Hornet's game. Wednesday's turned into Tuesdays and Thursday's and soon enough Mike had moved into the same building and we realized how much we loved spending time together. Our mutual love of traveling, cooking (Maria cooking), watching football, attending concerts, and just spending time with friends brought us even closer together. Years later we still enjoy all those things and can now look forward to a life time of doing them all together.

On a family beach trip in Charleston at the Isle of Palms, surrounded by friends and family, and two wild dogs. We walked out to the water to take a "picture" when the next thing I knew Mike was down on one knee. To his surprise and through a crying mess of tears, I said yes. With our friends and family cheering in the background while popping a bottle of champagne, it was a perfect proposal to share and enjoy!
