Please reach out to us at mikeandmandyhealy@gmail.com if you are interested in staying on-site with dates you plan on staying. Please note that our family members will have dibs on booking a cabin. If you're a friend - you will most likely be staying in a Yurt with other friends. We will assign bunk buddies based on what day you plan on coming in and who we know you won't murder (; Each cabin and yurt comes with a hot tub, grill and/or Blackstone! You will not book directly on the website, so please avoid doing so. However, feel free to reach out to them for further questions on grounds, parking, what’s included in cabins/yurts, etc. Their website has videos of what cabins and yurts look like (https://brownmountainbeach.com/about-brown-mountain-beach/accommodations/). We will do our best to assign you all fairly and comfortably. For those in yurts, please be prepared to bunker up together as there are no “private bedrooms” like the cabins. Please bring your own food and drinks outside of welcome dinner / wedding evening (there is an on-site cafe for food/non-alcoholic drinks & yes - coffee). Towels and linens are provided. It’s about $250+/- per cabin / yurt, per night. You’ll have 1 person pay directly to the resort and it’s up to you all how you split the total, which bed / room you get.
Absolutely not! We understand you may be busy and have kiddos. You can come just Saturday, Friday & Saturday or stay the entire time we are, which is Thursday-Sunday!
You know how much we love kiddos & doggies, however, due to limited space, only kids & dogs that are in the wedding are invited to stay on-site / attend activities. There is on-site babysitting services offered at the resort (https://brownmountainbeach.com/babysitting/). If you’re staying off-site with kiddos / dogs - please make sure they have care while you attend scheduled activities on-site. We truly hope you can take a break to unplug with us!
Of course not! Obviously, please come to the wedding, but everything else is totally optional. Whether you are staying on-site or not - feel free to make this a mini vacay and come & go to our activites as much as you please!
Only if your invitation has both names or + guest. Please note, the space is limited at this venue and we did the best we could!
Prepare for cooler mornings / nights and warmer days. We recommend bringing comfy / casual clothes, sweaters, rain jacket (just in case), swimmies, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.
We will be providing food & drinks for the welcome dinner and wedding cocktail hour & reception. The venue has an on-site cafe that offers coffee, smoothies, breakfast, lunch, pizza etc. You can find their menu on their website (https://brownmountainbeach.com/cafe-and-dining/). There is a community grill on-site and every yurt and cabin has their own “kitchen”, grill and/or Blackstone. We recommend bringing extra drinks and food if you’re staying on-site.
The RSVP link will be available on our website when we send out our official invitations. We wanted to give you plenty of time to prepare and decide if you are able to join us. However, do not hesitate to reach out early if you know you want to stay on-site and READY!
