Galway City
When traveling along the Wild Atlantic Way, the city of Galway is a must! Less than an hour's drive from Dromoland, Galway is often called the "Cultural Heart of Ireland" and is one of our favorite cities to visit! Here you can visit the famous Shop Street and Quay Street. Enjoy a few pints, being sure to stop at Tigh Neachtain's, Tig Coili, and Taaffes Bar. You may also stroll through the historic Spanish Arch, the Latin Quarter, browse the Galway Market, enjoy Eyre Square, and walk the Salthill Promenade for beautiful views.
The Cliffs of Moher
One of Ireland's most breathtaking natural wonders the cliffs are just a short drive from our wedding celebrations!
Doolin
Doolin is a picturesque costal village often called the "gateway" to the Cliffs of Moher. Known for its colorful cottages, cozy traditional pubs, and sweeping views of the Atlantic. You may find yourself enjoying a cliffside walk or a ferry trip to the Aran Islands, Doolin is just minutes away from where we say "I do."
Ennis
The town of Ennis is where our wedding ceremony will be held at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul. A lovely spot to shop local boutiques, enjoy live music, and a few pints with friends and family!
Gus O'Connor's Pub
No trip to Doolin is complete without a stop at Gus O'Connor's. Famous for its warm Irish welcome, hearty food, and nightly traditional music sessions.
The Burren
Just a short drive from the cliffs and Doolin, the Burren is perfect for hiking and exploring. If seeing a unique Irish landscape is on your list to do this is the place to go. Be sure to make a stop at the Hazel Mountain Chocolate Factory to grab some delicious chocolate sheep.
Bunratty Castle & Folk Park
A beautifully preserved medieval castle dating back to 1425, with a recreated 19th century Irish village truly bringing history to life!
The Aran Islands
Take a 45 minute ferry ride from Doolin Pier to visit the beautiful Aran Islands!
Lahinch
Lahinch is a lively seaside town famous for its surfing on a long, crescent-shaped beach and its world-renowned links golf course.
