When should I book my accommodations for the wedding?

Answer

We recommend booking your accommodations as soon as possible! May is a busy season in Savannah and we want to make sure you get the best deal!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We would love to see everyone dressed to the nines! For men a tux or dark colored suit and a floor length dress for women!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Most of Savannah is street parking so beware! If you are staying nearby I would recommend walking but otherwise Ubers may be the best choice!

Can I take pictures or video the ceremony?

Answer

We would prefer that you didn't! Our wedding is a sacrament and we want all the attention on our union under God!

Is the ceremony a full mass?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony will be a full Catholic mass.

Question

I have never been to a Catholic Mass. What do I do?

Answer

Try your best to follow what everybody else is doing. There will be many instances of standing, sitting, and kneeling, so please follow the rest of the congregation.

Do I have to take communion?

Answer

No! Please feel free to cross your arms in the line when communion begins and receive a blessing from the priest. If this does not interest you feel free to stay in your seat!

What can I do at the conclusion of the ceremony?

Answer

Upon the conclusion of the mass, and while still inside the Cathedral, please do not shout or whistle. Feel free to clap though!

Can I bring food or drinks to the ceremony?

Answer

Do not bring any food or drinks. Also make sure to silence your cell phones and do not open them at any point during the ceremony.
