Our Story
Michael and Maddy met in the halls of Amity Middle School, where a friendship became the foundation of their relationship. Michael asked Maddy to the junior prom—and soon after, to be his girlfriend. She said no. A few weeks later, under a starlit April sky, Maddy asked him to be her boyfriend. He said yes, and they’ve been together—mostly—ever since.
Their high school romance continued at the University of Connecticut, where they weathered ups and downs but always found their way back to each other. After graduation, distance tested them again: Michael moved to Philadelphia for graduate school, while Maddy headed to New York City, spending weekends on Greyhound buses for reunions. Before long, they moved together to Cambridge, MA, where Boston’s cobblestone streets and New England road trips became the backdrop for their next chapter.
In 2024, during a trip to Mexico, Michael proposed—and this time, Maddy said yes. Now, they’re ready for their next adventure: marriage!
