Where is everyone staying after the wedding?

Answer

There will be another wedding at Hotel Baker on Saturday, so the families/bridal party will be leaving the area after the newlywed cruise Saturday morning.

Will any event be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Our current plan, weather willing, is to have the ceremony outdoors. Also- we will have both indoor and outdoor spaces for cocktail hour. IL weather in October can be anywhere from 80 degrees to 50! Please plan accordingly.

Is there parking available at Hotel Baker?

Answer

Sort of- there is first come first serve parking on Main Street directly in front of Hotel Baker. In addition to nearby on-street parking, there is a new Parking Garage on First Street, one block south of the Hotel. Parking at this new multi-level facility is free.

How will you communicate any last minute changes?

We will send a text or email out to communicate any last minute changes.

How can I share photos from the wedding?

Answer

We will be creating a google drive for everyone to share their photos. If you post to social media please use our #StrongAsOak so we can see them all!

What is the best type of Cheetos?

Answer

Michael- Puffs, no contest Macaire- Crunchy Cheetos have more units per bag and I am an economical person. Puffs are 70% air.

Due to reception venue capacity, unless stated on your invitation, children will not be invited to the wedding reception. Please contact the bride or groom with questions.
