What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting the ceremony will take place outdoors. The reception will be indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party and family will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception for cocktail hour.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 20-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There will be plenty of free parking at the venue.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We strongly recommend using the Hopper App or Airbnb. There are multiple hotels in the Gettysburg area within 20 minutes of our venue.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Please RSVP online by October 1st.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

There will be a cocktail hour with select alcohol choices and a cheese/vegetable station. There will be a BBQ lunch served buffet style.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #TheReevesAreFalling so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
