What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail/Semi-formal attire: cocktail dresses, evening dresses, jumpsuits, sundresses, casual suits, slacks, button-downs, and sports coats (ties or no ties) are all perfect for our wedding. Our celebration will be outdoors, dress for the weather. Stilettos not recommended given the soft ground.

Is my invite for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

When you go to our website to RSVP, you will be directed to the correct events for you and your guest. We are keeping the ceremony a smaller, more intimate event before we are ready to party with you all at the reception!

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in the woods just before the cottage. Park on Kangaroo Lake Drive N and follow the signs to the ceremony. Follow the trail through the cedar trees and take a seat.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The reception will be held in the yard of the family cottage on Kangaroo Lake at 5PM. When arriving please park along Kangaroo Lake Dr N.

Will dinner be served?

Answer

We will have plenty of food, even though we are not doing a traditional sit-down dinner. Snacks and drinks will be available in the party tent and from 5PM-7PM Steel Belly BBQ will be serving dinner from the food truck. When you RSVP please pick your dinner preference.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We do not have a shuttle service. Please plan ahead with a DD. DCdrivers.com offers a driving service that can be self scheduled

Where can I stay?

Answer

We have 3 hotel room blocks. -The closest one is at Bailey's Sunset Motel and Cottages. Rooms/cottages held until June 25th. There are single hotel rooms as well as cottages and a house. Plan ahead and book together with friends. 2 night minimum and DOG FRIENDLY. -Best Western in Sturgeon Bay. Rooms held until July 25th. 2 night minimum. -Stone Harbor in Sturgeon Bay. Rooms held until June 25th. 1 night minimum If you plan to stay elsewhere, we recommend booking soon as most places around Bailey's Harbor book out months in advance in the summer.

As much as we would love to see your kids, we ask that this is an adult only event unless discussed with us first.
