Can I bring my kid(s)?
Answer
While Michael and Laurel love kiddos, their wedding is an adult-only affair. So book that babysitter and pack your dancing shoes!

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Unfortunately, if your invitation was not addressed to you and a guest, Michael and Laurel must ask that you not bring a date.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
There are many great hotels in the area, but Michael and Laurel have reserved a block of rooms at the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott in Buellton. This is also where a shuttle will pick up guests starting at 2:30pm on Saturday afternoon to take them to the venue. Please call 888-236-2427 to make your hotel reservation. Be sure to book early and mention that you are with the Lyman-Martin Wedding Group to receive our special group rate!

What should I wear?
Answer
The dress code is "Wine Country Cocktail," which could also be described as "Semi-formal." Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a suit, and ladies are encouraged to wear a dress. Please note, however, that the ceremony will be on grass (weather permitting), and it may get chilly in the evening. So you may want to grab a sweater or pashmina and leave the stilettos at home!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony is scheduled to start at 4pm, so please arrive no later than that. Laurel and Michael have arranged for a shuttle to take guests from the Marriott in Buellton to the venue on Saturday afternoon. The first shuttle will depart the Marriott at 2:30pm and do 2-3 round trips to get everyone to the venue on time.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
There is no guest parking at the venue, so Michael and Laurel ask that guests not drive themselves. Instead, please consider taking the guest shuttle from the Marriott or calling for an Uber. The first shuttle will depart the Marriott at 2:30pm and will do 2-3 round trips as necessary to get everyone to the venue on time.

Answer
While the best gift would be your presence at their wedding, Michael and Laurel have put together a registry on Zola.com where you can contribute to some special experiences the couple hopes to share as newlyweds or, for you traditional gift-givers, help them get a few items for their household.
