Our love story

1990’s

We have history with our love.He was my first love, as I captured his heart at the age 8yrs old.We grew up in the same neighborhood where our families knew each other on my dad,the late Ernest Charles Johnson parents Ethel Mae & deacon Richard Randolph resided.(May their souls continue to rest in paradise🕊️)We married each other at age 9 with our friends and family Ebony,Keisha,Lolly,Eric,Andrea,Shaunte,Charlene,Karen,Jerrid,Chaunte,Ellenor,Willie,Marcus,Carl. We got married with a ring pop and flowers picked from the ground and had a house party one of our friends dad threw for us and I told my mother in law that I married your son🥰Blowing one of the flowers away with the good news😂😂😂😂😂 When I was 13 years of age,I moved to a different neighborhood and lost contact. We met again in High School of my freshman year, where I felt like a kid in the candy store seeing him again. At that time,my sisters and I were taken from our mom and started a new life with our cousins.I had a strict family,so I could barely see him outside of school even if we were under the supervision of an adult,it was kind of hard to be friends. After that year,Michael had to transfer to another high school(Patterson) Where we lost contact.I couldn’t communicate on the phone nor visit him due to the strict rules of my home but when I would visit my grandmother,I would visit him occasionally. I was sent away during high school to complete a trade and get my diploma in which I’ve completed. We lost each other again, not having a cell phone and not being able call him when I wanted to.During my home visits,I would go see him briefly as I still was in custody of family. We still decided to remain friends through it all. There was no way we could have a relationship due to the four hour distance to see him and be there for him.As time went on.I started dating and even in dating other people we still remained friends with boundaries. We met again passing by visiting my grandma. At that time,I was pregnant with my son Travion and he just had his first child Shakerra. We both was lost for words so we just went on bout our day.I saw him briefly when travion was a infant but we always stayed friends even tho we had children with different people.During my time raising my children,I’ve always wondered how him and his family was doing and if he was staying out of trouble.I loved his Mom and Aunty’s dearly growing up,but I decided to be respectful and not cause issues in my current relationship so I kept my distance. In 2019 he wrote me an email reaching out asking how I was doing, letting me know he will always be my friend no matter the circumstances, and from that day forward we took our friendship to the next level.Almost 2 yrs into the relationship Michael proposed to me visiting his sister Andrea on our baecation weekend where he asked for my hand in marriage.I wasn’t quite ready but I knew that I wanted to marry him in due time. Now here we are, making our dreams come true to join together in union under the covenant of God to live happily ever after in Christ 😇
