Michael and I were introduced by our mutual friend Wanda. She sent me a message one night with some a picture of this handsome and single man. In the message she prefaced it with, he has a job, a car, a house, no kids, and 3 Shih Poo puppies. With all of those qualities being important to me, the Shih Poo puppies were what reeled me in. Our first date was at Big Daddy's with a group, and we were both nervous. In typical Michael fashion, he spilled something on his suit jacket and proceeded to go to his car and completely change. I laughed that he had a wardrobe in his car lol. That date did not end until 530am with a final trip to Taco Bell. A couple of days later, he invited me over, and said he wanted to make me dinner. I am a chicken finger and fries kind of gal, and he informed me that he was making stuffed swordfish. I was beyond scared to try this and was thinking of all the ways to get out of going, except I wanted to see him. I ended up going, and to my surprise, it was terrific. I thought I scored the jackpot with a guy that had all those previous qualities, and he could cook too. I can not cook but figured I should try and impress him as well. A couple of days after that, I invited him to my place for dinner. I was making a chicken pasta dish and decided to make jalapeno poppers for an appetizer. I was trying to time everything right, and well, I smoked out my entire apt in December. When he arrived, I had all the windows and doors opened, and it was probably 60degrees. We laughed, he did not run, and we ate what we could. We are a perfect balance for each other. He slows me down at times to relax, and I keep him motivated. We have started a great life together, and the adventure is only beginning. He supports me through school, and I appreciate all of his support. He is one of my biggest cheerleaders, and I know he will always make sure I have what I need. We are excited to take this next step and continue our story.
