We’re getting married!!!

Mike's story- The struggle of meeting people in todays age is getting increasingly harder. As busy professionals we found ourselves looking to apps to find someone to connect with. I decided to check out Bumble and see if it led me anywhere. It sure did! It took me straight to Kristin and now to marriage. To be honest, I was content with dating without matrimony being the bigger picture. But sometimes life has other plans for you. When I say that I found my perfect match in Kristin, I couldn't be more accurate. from the first time we met to every morning I wake up next to her, I am constantly reminded of just how right this all feels. We started chatting on the app and it was only a few days before Kristin decided to make the first move. She invited me out for a last minute drink on a Saturday night. Anyone who knows me knows that once the sun goes down, I'm in full get ready for bed mode. Somehow she got me to get up and get ready to go meet her. That was the first sign this was gonna be special. We met a local sports bar and hit it off immediately and we almost shut the place down! I was impressed by her in every way imaginable. Anyone who can get me out of bed and keep me awake past 11pm must have something special. It was the best decision I've ever made. From that moment on, we've been on this journey together and I couldn't be happier. As the date went on, I started to realize just how similar we are. We have the same taste in music and sports. We have a very similar sense of humor. We share similar outlooks on life and family. She checked off every single box I was looking for in a partner. She is my soulmate and there is no doubt in my mind that fate brought us together. Kristin's story-Like Mike said, being busy with work and life, it is difficult to meet people, so dating apps become the best way to do that. I had been on and off the apps for a little bit and there are so many stories of people you meet. On Bumble, the woman makes the first move to initiate conversation. I messaged first and thought I was off the hook for making the first move. We chatted for a couple of days and Mike was so easy and fun to chat with. I wanted to meet in person, to make sure he was the real deal. I ended up with no plans on that fateful Saturday night and was trying to get him to ask me out. I kept setting him up and he wasn't taking the bait. Finally, I asked him to meet for a drink and he said yes. I found out later he was tucked in bed and got out of bed to come meet me, and so glad he did. We had a great time and felt like we had known each other for years, and not the hours it was. We quickly set up dates for the upcoming week; baseball game with friends, dinner and a beer fest downtown. Each date was even better than the one before! We have done so many things, traveling, concerts and sporting events (that seems to be our thing), and every date is better than the one before. Then came time to meet Adrienne-we would all meet to get pedicures. The nail tech called me back first leaving Adrienne and Mike by themselves. I thought, well this goes one of two ways. I look over and those two were chatting it up like old friends. After pedicures we went to Round One for bowling and video games. Walking out to the parking lot, Adrienne invited Mike out to dinner. We kept him out late again that night. Our relationship has been easy, fun, loving, caring and the one that I have been waiting for, Mike is everything I could have ever wished for in a partner and I am so grateful to be spending my life with him. We complement each other in every way and I love the journey that we are on.
